Sicherheit und Prävention spielt besonders in Familien mit Kindern eine große Rolle. Gerade wenn Kinder mobiler werden und neugierig sind, wird jeder Platz im Haus interessant. Treppen können da genauso interessant wie gefährlich sein. Wir erhielten den Auftrag, ein Treppenschutzgitter in Form einer Schutztür für einen Treppenzugang herzustellen. Eine einfache Holztür aus Profilholz war eine Möglichkeit, jedoch wäre dies in diesem Fall ein Stilbruch zum bereits vorhandenen Geländer aus Echtholz samt seiner Form und Farbe gewesen.
Neubau als Kopie des alten Geländers
Entsprechend haben wir dazu für das Treppenschutzgitter eine hybride Lösung erdacht. Wir bauen eine neue Tür nach dem bestehenden Vorbild und lassen die Form und die Elemente des historischen Geländers in den Neubau mit einfließen.

Wir fertigten einen äußeren Rahmen mit den Maßen des Aufgangs, so dass die grundsätzliche Funktion erfüllt wird. In der Mitte der Tür ist ein weiterer Rahmen eingeplant. Hier werden die Säulen des alten Geländers verarbeitet und als Blickfang integriert. Die drei inneren Teile wurden separat gefertigt.
Die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte wurden in unserer Werkstatt komplett von Hand gefertigt und als Projekt mit unserem Auszubildenden umgesetzt. Wir setzen nach unserer Philosophie neben moderner Technik für die Holzbearbeitung nach wie vor auf traditionelles Tischlerhandwerk.
